I’ve always thought of theology as a system of belief formulated from the Bible in a more logical and systematic way for everyone, particularly those who are young in faith so they can grasp the tenets of Christianity more easily and not necessarily an expression of certain context. According to this chapter, this idea would be equivalent to the biblical and traditional part of theology. According to this chapter, even this first two part of theology was formulated within the context, both in biblical history and early church socio-econo-political environment. Therefore I am challenged to think of Theology in terms of my own context to make it relevant to me and my world.
